Lovina is the mother of two children, one of whom is still living. Leoria C., their daughter, is 19, single and at home. Lovina's parents, Daniel and Miranda Tripp, live with them. At 76, Daniel continues to list his occupation as a watchmaker. Miranda is the mother of eight children, four of whom are living in 1900.
Albert Meeker, is a boarder. He is 20 years old and an apprentice.
With the exception of Lovina, who was born in Pennsylvania, all others were born in New York state. Everyone in the home can read and write. The house, not a farm, is mortgaged.
