Thomas never left England, but his son John emigrated to America. He was born in 1558 in Sudbury, Suffolk, England. If the information I have is correct, he lived to 89 and died June 21, in Nasing (Nazeing?), Essex, England. I’m a little skeptical of this due to his age at death, and due to the distance between the two locations.
John was one of the Planters of the Massachusetts Colony, along with Samuel Wilbore. How interesting! If this all checks out, we have two relatives that were passengers of the ships sent to America by the Massachusetts Bay Company from 1628 to 1630.
Off to check for family members who joined The Winthrop Society.
